About Us
Rooted in the Word since 1950
For more than seven decades, New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church has been a light on Joyce Avenue in Columbus.
Our Foundation
No more, no less than the Word
At New J we do “no more or no less than what’s written in the Word of God” (Revelation 22:18–19). We hold the Holy Scriptures as our standard for faith, worship, and daily living.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to: Make disciples for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through preaching, teaching and serving — as we sacrifice our Time, Talent and Treasure.
“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”Revelation 22:18–19 (KJV)
